Automated Design is proud to announce the development of ADC SportsLogic MechLab control software. This allows the user to design and implement any type of load testing, as long as it is within the unit’s mechanical speci!cations. MechLab is included with our CTS, Gen IV, and Size, Weight, & Compression units. Using a simple, tabular programming language, users quickly con!gure any load test needed. Version 2.0 enhances performance and stability while streamlining the interface and adding additional features. MechLab 2.0 will be available for release later this month.

We are happy to announce a new update for RecorderCE (Compression Edition) has been released.

This update improves integration with the Ohaus weight scale used alongside the compression tester by many of our customers. Specifically, this version better parses the string, handles extra characters in the data string, and corrects some issues with inserting the data into the table. It also compensates for situations where the operator weighs a ball before compressing it.

While the standard Cannon Style 2 is not as accurate as the SuperCannon 2000 family, it is by far the most popular ball cannon in the world. With a velocity repeatability of +/- 2 Feet/second (0.6096 Meters/second) at speeds of 140-180 Feet/second (42.67-54.86 Meters/second), the Cannon Style 2 is more than accurate enough for most applications.

ADC is happy to annouce the release of Recorder 4 for the ADC VelociGraph.

The release is based on the SportsLogic platform, and takes advantage of the improved VelociGraph stream parsing for all levels of VelociGraph. In addition, this release adds Velocity Ratio and an optional adjustable COR calculation for the convenience of our customers that was previously unavaible in Recorder.
