    Plug in the Ethernet cable

Connect an Ethernet cable from your PC to the Ethernet port on the system. The port’s link light should turn on.

  2. 2
    Step 2

    Set your PC’s IP address

Give the Ethernet adapter on your PC a fixed address on the system’s network:

    IP address
    192.168.127.100
    Subnet mask
    255.255.255.0
    Windows 10 / 11
    1. Press the Windows key + R, type ncpa.cpl, and press Enter.
    2. Right-click the Ethernet adapter the cable is plugged into, then choose Properties.
    3. Select “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)”, then click Properties.
    4. Choose “Use the following IP address” and enter the values above. Leave the gateway and DNS blank.
    5. Click OK, then Close.
    macOS

    4. Enter the IP address and subnet mask above. Leave Router blank, then click OK.
  3. 3
    Step 3

    Open the operator interface

Open a web browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari) on your PC and go to this address. Type http://, not https://.

    Operate the system
    http://192.168.127.1
  4. 4
    Step 4

    Open the user manual

The system’s user manual is served from the system itself. Open it in another browser tab:

    User manual
    http://192.168.127.1:4444
When you are finishedSet your Ethernet adapter back to “Obtain an IP address automatically” (Windows) or “Using DHCP” (Mac) so it works on your office network again.

Not working?

  • No link light? Make sure both ends of the cable click in, or try another cable.
  • Page won’t load? Turn off any VPN, and check that you typed http:// (not https://).
  • No Ethernet port on your laptop? Use a USB-to-Ethernet adapter and set the IP address on that adapter.
  • Several adapters listed? Unplug the cable — the one that changes to “Network cable unplugged” is the right one.
  • Another PC already connected? Use the next address, such as 192.168.127.101.
  • Office network also uses 192.168.127.x? Disconnect Wi-Fi while you use the system.
