ADC has standardized on TwinCAT/Codesys as our automation platform and is seeking an industrial programmer. This individual would develop, start-up and service automation solutions.
Position Details:
- Program TwinCAT PLCs and HMIs
- Commission servo and stepper motion axes
- Specify hardware and specifications for new projects
- Troubleshooting of existing equipment
- Full time position at our office in Romeoville, IL
Required Skills:
- 2-5 years of industrial automation controls experience
- Basic commercial electrical and safety experience
- The ability to read industrial electrical schematics
- Experience with industrial PLCs and HMIs
- Structured Text (IEC 61131-3) programming experience
- Basic industrial networking experience
- Experience in basic industrial automation hardware
- Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Beckhoff TwinCAT or Codesys
- Experience integrating subsystems using EtherCAT
- Experience editing electrical schematics with AutoCAD
- Experience using GIT and node.js
- Experience with Epson and Yaskawa Robotics
