Club Head COR

One of our earliest systems remains a must-have for any golf ball manufacturer. ADC's Club Head COR (Coefficient of Restitution) testing system, meticulously engineered to meet rigorous standards and featuring our latest iBeam Screen sensors. A golf ball is fired precisely at 160FPS into a club head resting on a frictionless surface becomes a moment of truth captured by measuring the velocity of the ball both pre-impact and as it makes its triumphant rebound from the clubface.

The club head mount provides X (direction of ball, +/- 1”), Y (vertical, +/- 1”), and Z (perpendicular to ball direction, +/- 1”) precision slides with micrometer adjustment to aid the operator in placement of the club head. The club head is captured in a net, and each tested golf ball returns to a rail conveniently situated next to the operator. This thoughtful design minimizes downtime and maximizes efficiency, keeping the focus squarely on the testing process.

Our iBeam Screen Sensors coupled with our VG03 speed chronograph diligently records each ball's velocities. Combined with our latest version of Recorder, data is seamlessly captured and optionally pushed directly into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, or customers can choose integrate the data from the VG03 directly into one of their own solutions.
