Impact Tester
Being able to conduct a repeatable test to analyze shock absorption provides a valuable benefaction to product design, and of consistent quality. Claims made for a material’s shock absorption capability should be supported by verifiable relevant test results.
Intended to be used for the testing of various materials, our system is a stand-alone design with a sturdy frame and machined table top. The impacts are created when the servo axis raised the load ram to an accurate height, then is automatically uncoupled, causing it to drop freely. The repeated cycle will be pre-determined.
This system adheres to the ASTM F1976 and ASTM F1614 standards for impact attenuation of athletic shoe cushioning systems and materials.
