Golf balls are fired at set speed against an accurately positioned club head. Velocity of ball is measured before striking clubface, and after rebounding from clubface. Ball velocities and calculated COR are transferred to an EXCEL spreadsheet. Each fired golf ball is recovered and returned to an area adjacent to the operator.
At the club head end of the system, ADC provides X (direction of ball, +/- 1”), Y (vertical, +/- 1”), and Z (perpendicular to ball direction, +/- 1”) precision slides with micrometer adjustment to aid the operator in placement of the club head.
